Individual Note: The 1880 Federal Census lists Alexander Ford, 17, a farm laborer living with his mother, Annie E. Ford 38, widowed and sisters Violetta, 14; Lucetta M. 12; and Clara L. 7, in Valley Twp., Chester Co., PA. All born in PA.
The 1900 census has Alexander Ford, 35 and his family living in West Caln, Chester, Co., Pennsylvania. Census image is badly faded and nearly illegible. They appear to have five children. Wife's name is Elizabeth.
The 1910 census has Alexander Ford, 46; his wife Annie E. Ford, 46, sons Charles 14 and Elmer 12; stepson James W. Obion (O'Brien) 18; living in Williamsport, Lycoming, PA.
The 1920 census has "Alexandria" Ford, 56; his wife Annie E. Ford, 55, sons Charles 22 and Elmer, 20; living in Brady Twp., Lycoming County, PA. Alexander is a laborer working in the woods. He rents his house. Charles and Elmer are a farm laborers and both are single. All born in PA.

Individual Note: James O'Brien, 38, was found in the 1930 census of Muncy Creek Twp., Lycoming County, PA living with his family; including his wife, Olive, 38; children: James Jr. 16; Virginia, 14; Evelyn, 13; Thelma, 10; Luther, 9; Charles, 8; Robert, 4 y 8 m; Calvin, 3 y 5 m; Betty Jane, 1 y 9 m; James' mother, Anna H. Ford, 64 and widowed and first married at 22. All born in PA. James is a laborer doing odd jobs. Olive is a laundress at home. They were married when they were 21. James rents the house and pay $10 per month.
