Text: Mrs. R.B. Hileman died at home last night. Mrs. R.B. Hileman an esteemed resident of East Eighth Street died at 10:30 last night at her home after a lenghty illness. Her condition was critical for a time following the death of her husband on July 1 but improved until Sunday when she was stricken again. Aged 59 years 13 days she was a native of Pine Summit and a member of the Methodist church. She was a former resident of Eyersgrove. Surviving are 5 children, Beecher Hileman of Millertown, and Howard, Dorothy, William and Marion of town. Four sisters and a brother survive Murray Holdren of Pine Summit; Mrs. Daniel Creveling, Mrs. Charles Edwards, Mrs. Mary McCarty, of town and Mrs. Abby Laubach of Washington. Funeral services will be held Thursday afternoon at the home and continued in the Pine Summit Church, Burial will be made at Pine Summit.

Individual Note: The 1910 Federal Census for Pine Twp., Columbia Co., PA lists Murray Holdren, 32 and his wife, Gertrude A., 31; married for 9 years with three children: Frank W., 8; Howard G., 3; and Donald D. 10 months. All were born in PA, as were their parents. Murray is a farmer and owns his farm. They live only one house away from Murray's parents. (May 5, 1910; E.D. 33; Sheet 12B.)
The 1930 Federal Census for Pine Twp., Columbia Co. PA lists Murray H. Holdren 52, and his wife Gertrude A., 51; sons, Frank W. 28; Howard G., 23; and Donald D. 21. Frank and Howard are absent.
Frank is widowed. All are farm laborers and born in PA. Murray owns his house and it is a farm. They own a radio. Murray was 22 when first married and Gertrude, 21. (E.D. 19-39, April 26, 1930, Sheet 4A)
