Individual Note: The 1900 census of Forks Twp. Sullivan Co., PA lists Ernest W. Vough 43 b. April 1857 and his family. Wife, Anna J. 34 b. May 1866; son Lyman J. 12 b. May 1888; daughter Permilla R. 10 b. April 1890; daughter, Esther A. 8 b. March 1892; daughter Ella A. 1 b. January 1899. They have been married 14 years. They had 6 children, 4 of whom are living. He is a farmer and owns his own farm. They live adjacent to Ernest's father, Abraham Vough.

Elmer Vough was born in Forks Township, Jan. 7, 1869. He was a son of Abram and Ann (Molyneux) Vough, of Forks. Abram Bough was a son of John Vough, of Lycoming County. The father died and Abram’s mother married Jeffrey Clark, a native of Chester, England, who located in Forks Township. Abram Vough married Ann Molyneux, a daughter of Edward Molyneux, and their children were: Lottie R., who died Nov. 1874; Ernest W., of Forks; Llewellan J., died Feb. 17, 1876; Florence S, married Rev. Eugene Warburton; Lyle Nelson, died Oct. 3, 1871; Elmer E., the subject of this sketch, and Estella M, married Curtis Rumsey, of Forks. Elmer J. Vough purchased the Vough homestead. In 1900, he married Harriet Ferrell, dec’d. In 1903, he married Adeline B. Rinebold, a daughter of George and Ruth (Bird) Rinebold. To Mr. Vough has been born, Manville C., by his first wife.

DEATH: Source: The Daily Review dated June 11, 1947 as follows: Elmer E. Vough passed away on Monday, June 10 at the home of his daughter, Mrs. Olin Russell of Binghamton, NY, RD 4, at the age of 79. He is survived by his wife and the following children: Mrs. Fanny Russell, Mrs. Lottie Elliott, and Mrs. Bernice Caro of Binghamton, Frank of Towanda and George of East Forks. Funeral services will be held Thursday afternoon with prayer at the home of George Vough at 1 o'clock and further services at the East Forks Church at 2 o'clock. Burial will be in the East Forks Cemetery.
The 1930 Federal Census lists Elmer E. Vough, 61 and his wife, Addie B. 44 living in Forks Twp., Sullivan Co, PA with their son George W. 24, daughter, Annie R. 19; son, Frank M. 15, daughter, Bernice M. 12; granddaughter, Marjorie 8 months. All the children are single and it is unclear who Marjorie belongs to. Elmer was 31 when first married, Addie, 17. Elmer owns his farm and a radio. All born in PA. Individual Note: The 1870 census of Forks Twp., Sullivan Co., PA lists Lydia Vough, 39, widowed and keeping house. She has $500 in real estate and $100 in personal property. She children William 18, Ezra D. 16 and Laylinda 13 live with her. All born in PA. The children attend school.
The 1880 census of Forks Twp., Sullivan Co., PA lists Lydia Vough, 49, widowed and keeping house in the home of her son, L. William Vough. She was born in PA as was her father, her mother was born in England.
The 1900 census of Forks Twp., Sullivan Co., PA lists Lydia Vough, 69 b. October 1830 widow and her son William L. Vough, 48 b. May 1852. William is a single farmer and owns his farm. Lydia had 4 children, 3 of whom are living.

Mrs. Lydia (Rowe) Vough of Forks Township died Saturday Jan. 11 at the age of 82 years 2 months and 17 days.
She was the widow of Warren W. Vough, who died more than 56 years ago.
She is survived by two sons William at home and Ezra of East Forks. She was a lady highly esteemed by her friends and neighbors.
Funeral services were held Tuesday with interment at Warburton Hill cemetery.
