Individual Note: The Hiram Long Family is found in the 1860 census in Unityville, Jordan Twp, Lycoming Co. The family consists of Hiram, 29; Margaret, 29, Rachael E., 7; Miranda, 5; Joseph D., 3; Thomas J., 1; and a Joseph Hannah, 62). They live adjacent to John R. Winders and William Miller.
The 1880 census of Jordan Twp., Lycoming Co., PA lists Hiram Long, 49; wife, Margaret, 49; sons Joseph D. 22; Thomas J. 20; George 18; Philip, 14; William 13; Norah, 7. Hiram is a farmer, his sons are laborers. All were born in PA. They live adjacent to Isaac Nungesser and Jacob Young.
The 1910 census lists Hiram Long, 63 and his wife, Esther 62 living in Columbia Co. PA. E.D. 0033, Visit 0153.

The 1870 census has Daniel Long and his family living in Jordan Twp. Lycoming Co. PA. The family consists of Daniel, 32; Sarah C., 24; Mary J.C., 4; Alvira A., 9 (not sure if she really belongs to this family because of placement in family list order) and Experience Long, 57. Also Rebecca Sanders, 16 lives with this family. Daniel's father, Rudolf must have died prior to 1870. p. 144B (6).
The 1880 census has Daniel Long and his family still living in Jordan Twp., Lycoming Co., PA. The family consists of Daniel, 42; Sarah C. 34; Mary F. 13; Etta, 11; James, 9; Charles F. 4; a boarder, Mary Sanders, 66. Daniel is a laborer and all were born in PA.
The 1900 census lists Daniel Long, born June 1838, 62 married 32 years living in Jordan Twp. Lycoming Co, PA with his wife Sarah, July 1846 and daughter Nettie born February 1884. They had 5 children all of whom were living at the time. All were born in PA. Daniel is a day-laborer. They live in Unityville.
The 1910 census list Daniel Long, 71 and his wife Sarah C. 63 living in Lycoming Co, PA E.D. 0047, visit 0183.

PA lists William Long born December 1840, 59 in Pennsylvania; his wife Mary C., born November 1844, 55 in PA; a son Boyd, March 1882, 18; and mother-in-law, Sarah Sanders, b. Sept. 1816 widowed b. in PA. Also a grandson, William B. Hunsinger, 15, b. January 1885 lives with them. William and Mary have been married 37 years and 4 of 7 children are living. Sarah Sanders lists only one child. William is a U.S. Mail Carrier. p. 195B.

Charlotte E. Fry, 82, of 1099 Middle Road, Muncy, died Tuesday, Jan. 29, 2002, at the Muncy Valley Hospital Skilled Nursing Unit.
Her husband of 50 years, Kenneth D. Fry, died March 10, 1996.
She attended Muncy Normal School.
While a member of the former Pennsdale Evangelical United Brethren Church, she taught Sunday School and served as assistant choir director. She was particularly active with the church youth.
She provided care to children in her home. In addition, she helped on the family farm and enjoyed gardening, canning and cooking. She was fond of crafts and especially enjoyed crocheting and sewing.
She attended Trinity Assembly of God in Montoursville.
Born Sept. 18, 1919, in Muncy Twp., she was the daughter of Phillip and Carrie Artley Fry.
Surviving are two daughters, Sandra K. Hornberger and Betsy J. Lepley, both of Hughesville; one sister, Eudora Bubb of Pennsdale and three grandchildren, Justin D. Hornberger, Ryan A. Lepley and Jennifer L. Hornberger.
She was predeceased by an infant son, Elwood Lee Fry and two brothers, Artley Fry and Linwood Fry.
The funeral will be at 1:30 p.m. on Friday at Wallis-Grenoble’s, 121 S. Main St., Muncy. Officiating will be the Rev. Jonathan Baker, pastor of Trinity Assembly of God, Montoursville. Burial will be in Twin Hills Memorial Park, Muncy.
Friends may call at the funeral home on Thursday from 7 to 9 p.m.
The family will provide the flowers and suggests memorial contributions be made to Trinity Assembly of God, 332 N. Loyalsock Ave., Montoursville, PA 17754.

Eudora F. Bubb, 80, of Hughesville, formerly of Pennsdale, died on Thursday, Jan. 4, 2007, at the Muncy Valley Hospital Skilled Nursing Unit.
She and her husband, Max C. Bubb, would have been married of 60 years this April 18.
Eudora was born in Muncy Township on March 12, 1926, a daughter of the late Philip and Carrie (Artley) Fry.
Eudora retired in 1990 from the GTE in Montoursville. She was a lifelong member of the Pennsdale Trinity United Methodist Church. She loved the opportunity to socialize with friends.
She is survived by her husband Max C., one son Larry M. and wife Karen Bubb of Waverly, Iowa, two daughters; Carol and husband Jonathan Thomas of Kosciusko, Mississippi and Sherry Fisher of Jackson, Mississippi. Also surviving are three grandchildren and one great grand child. She is predeceased by two brothers; Artley and Linwood Fry and a sister Charlotte Fry.
The funeral will be Monday 10:30 a.m. at McCarty-Thomas Funeral Home, 557 E. Water St., Hughesville, with her pastor, the Rev. Rob Ransom, officiating. Burial will be in Montoursville Cemetery. Friends will be received at the funeral home on Sunday from 6 to 8 p.m.
