Guy H. Reeder, 75, of W. Mountain Ave., So. Williamsport died Saturday, January 26, at Williamsport Hospital. He was born in Montoursville, May 13, 1926 the son of George H. and Cora B, Bowman Reeder. His wife the former Anges Nork died September 29, 2001.
       He operated his own contracting business for many years. A veteran of WWII having served in the Navy, he was a member of the Dubiostown Veterans of Foreign Wars, Post 7863, Montoursville American Legion Post #104. He attended St, Lawrence Catholic Church and enjoyed hunting, fishing, and woodworking.
       Surviving him are three daughters Sherry Heinze and Susan Sheldon both of Montoursville, Joan Reeder of Spokane, Wash., a step daughter Shirley Shea of Lake Park, Fla; 5 grand children, 2 step grand children, 2 great grandchildren and 2 step great grandchildren; a brother George Reeder of Swathmore, and a sister Sarah Sterner of Montoursville. A son Allen Reeder and a sister Thelma Reeder preceded him in death.
       Graveside services will be held at St. Boniface Cemetery Tuesday, Jan. 29, at 10:00 A.M. There will be no visitation.
       In lieu of flowers the family suggests contributions may be made in his name to SPCA, 2805 Reach Road, Williamsport, PA 17701. Allen & Redmond Funeral Home is in charge of the arrangements.

     The 1920 Federal Census lists Conrad Diehl, 28 and his wife, Ruth, 28, living at 412 Charlotte Place, Evergreen, Queens Co., NY. They have a daughter, Gertrude, 3. He is a draughtsman in ventilators. All born in NY, including parents. He rents his house. (January 16, 1920; E.D. 409; Sheet 7A)

The 1930 Federal Census list Conrad W. Diehl, 38 and his wife Ruth N., 38 living at 215 Morris Avenue, Rockville Centre, Nassau Co., NY. Their daughter, Gertrude H., 14 also lives with them along with father and mother-in-law, John, 62 and Elizabeth 60 Nuhn. All born in NY. John Nuhn's parents were born in Germany. Conrad is a sales engineer in ventilation. John Nuhn is an auditor in building supplies. Conrad owns the house which is worth $12000. They have a radio. Both Conrad and Ruth were 24 when first married. John and Elizabeth were 22 and 20, respectively, when first married.

       Anna L. Folmar, 90, of 2256 Mill Lane, Williamsport, died Friday, Oct. 14, 2005, in Sycamore Manor. She was the widow of Donald J. Folmar, who died in October of 1992.

Ethel F. Gawblick

Ethel F. Gawblick, 76, of 72 Faircrest Road, Montoursville, passed away Sunday, Jan. 28, 2007 at the Williamsport Hospital.

She was born Aug. 9, 1930 in Williamsport, a daughter of Archibald and Dora Yingling Folmar.

She was a member of Our Lady of Lourdes Catholic Church in Montoursville. She retired from Liberty Mutual Insurance Co., and volunteered at the Williamsport Hospital in Medical Records.

She was married to Carl R. Gawblick, who predeceased her in 2005.

Ethel is survived by seven daughters, Carol A. Berguson of Williamsport, Joan M. (Scott) Getgen of Lairdsville, Wanda J. (Steve) Evelhair of Montoursville, Sheila K. (Keith) Karschner of Montoursville, Linda S. (Andy) Powell of Montoursville, Bonnie L. (Greg) Confer of Loganton, and Gloria L. Route of Montoursville; two brothers, James Folmar of Davidsonville, Md., Robert Folmar of Sweet Valley, Pa.; a sister, Mildred Folmar of Montoursville; seventeen grandchildren, and four great grandchildren.

A Memorial Mass of Christian Burial will be held 10 a.m. Friday, Feb. 2, at Our Lady of Lourdes Catholic Church, 100 Walnut St., Montoursville, with the Rev, Leo J. McKernan, her priest, officiating. Burial will follow in the Montoursville Cemetery. There will be no visitation.

Jamie Lee Winder

       Jamie Lee Winder, 17, of 88 Opp Lane, Muncy, died Wednesday Feb. 6, 2002, as a result of an automobile accident on Rte. 442 and Opp Lane in Moreland Township.
       He was a sophomore at Hughesville High School and attended the Lycoming County Career Consortium. He was a green belt and belonged to the Shadow of the Dragon Kung Fu in Hughesville, in which his uncle, K.C. Lyons, is the instructor. He enjoyed hunting and loved being with his family and friends. He participated in the demolition derby at the Lycoming County Fair in which he and his best friend, John Bouse, worked on building the car for the race. He also enjoyed working with his aunt Ruth, traveling to fairs with a food vending trailer. He was an avid Dale Earnhardt and enjoyed Nascar races.
       He was born in Williamsport on Nov. 7, 1984, the son of Daniel E. and Cheri Lyons Winder, III.
       Surviving, besides his parents, are his twin sisters, Kayla and Kristin Winder, at home; his maternal grandparents, Ken and Grace Lyons of Hughesville; maternal great-grandmother Geraldine Ellsworth of Bradford; paternal grandmother Wannetta Winder of Williamsport; maternal uncle and aunt, K.C. and Wendy Lyons of Hughesville; paternal uncle Thomas Winder of Hughesville and paternal step-aunt Rosetta Winder of Williamsport and five cousins, Sadie, Courtney, Thomas Lee, Jr., Tara and Tavis. He is predeceased by his paternal grandfather, Daniel E. Winder, II.
       Funeral services will be Monday, 10:30 a.m. at McCarty-Thomas', 557 East Water Sr., Hughesville, with Lucy Temple, certified lay minister at Moreland Baptist Church, officiating. Burial will be in Pleasant Hill Cemetery, Hughesville. Friends will be received at the funeral home on Sunday from 7-9 p.m.
       The family suggests memorial contributions be made to a trust established in Kayla and Kristin Winders' names at any Sovereign Bank location.

     The 1900 Census states that Daniel Strailey and his family live in Gamble Twp. Lycoming Co. PA. The family consists of wife Mahala, 50 b. Dec. 1849. Sons, Harry F., 19 b. August 1880; Daniel E., 15, April 1885. They have 3 children all of whom are living. Daniel and Mahala have been married 24 years. The family is believed to have lived in the Rose Valley area.
