Guy Russell Lundy, 79, of 1301 Exchange Road, Muncy, died Saturday, February 16, 2002 at his residence. Born May 25, 1922 in Warrensville, he was the son of William L. and Bertha Harman Lundy.
He owned and operated the former Russ's Barber Shop and Lundy Upholstering in Warrensville.
He was a member of the Warrensville U.M. Church. He was a WWII Army Veteran, member of the Eugene Grafius American Legion Post 104, a mason and member of the Williamsport Consistory, a charter and life member of the Eldred Twp. Fire Dept., and a member of the Blessing Mountain Hunting Club in Warrensville.
He and his wife, the former Mildred H. Reber, celebrated their 56th wedding anniversary January 3, 2002.
Surviving in addition to his wife are a daughter, Judith I. Snyder, with whom he resided, and two brothers, Clair of Cogan Station and Max of Georgia. He was predeceased by a son, Guy Russell Lundy, Jr., four brothers, Elwood, Paul, William Jr., and Lou, and two sisters, Dorothy Kurtz and Rhea Brelsford.
There will be a private family memorial service, Wednesday, 1:30 p.m. at Spitler Funeral Home, 733 Broad St., Montoursville, with his pastor, Rev. Connie A. Waugh, officiating. Burial will be in Montoursville Cemetery. There will be no visitation.

Mildred H. Lundy
Mildred H. Lundy, 82, of 1301 Exchange Road, Muncy, died July 2, 2006 at her residence.
Born in Milton on March 11, 1924, she was the daughter of Samuel and Katie Franquet Reber.
She was the widow of Guy R. Lundy, who died Feb. 16, 2002.
Mildred was a member of the Warrensville United Methodist Church and a charter member of Eldred Twp. Ladies Auxiliary.
Surviving her is her daughter, Judith I. (Lester) Snyder of Muncy, a sister, Miriam Chadderdon and nieces and nephews.
Services and burial will be at the convenience of the family.

William L. Lundy Jr., 75, of 410 Arch St., Montoursville, died Tuesday, March 14, 2000, at home. He and his wife, the former Roxalene E. Rager, observed their 48th wedding anniversary Sept. 8. He retired from Norcen Industries in Jersey Shore and had formerly worked for the former GTE Sylvania and Litton Industries. A World War II Army veteran, he received the Purple Heart. He was a life member of D.A.V. Post 47 and V.F.W. Post 844 in Williamsport. He was a member of Bethany Lutheran Church. Born April 2, 1924, in Eldred Township, he was a son of William L. and Bertha Harmon Lundy Sr. Surviving, besides his wife, are a son William L. III of Pennsdale; two daughters, Janice K. Harrison of Carlisle and Pamela J. Good of Montoursville; three brothers, G. Russell, Clair and Max, all of Cogan Station; and three grandchildren, Jared, Amanda and Logan Wolfe. He was preceded in death by three brothers, Elwood, Paul and Lewis and two sisters, Dorothy Kuntz and Rhea Brelsford. The funeral will be at 10:30 a.m. Friday at Spitler's, 733 Broad St., Montoursville, with his pastor, the Rev. J. Jeffrey Zetto, officiating. Burial will be in Montoursville Cemetery. Friends may call at the funeral home from 9:30 to 10:30 Friday. The family will provide the flowers.

Kathryn Esther Schrum
Kathryn Esther Schrum, (nee Egli), 87, died peacefully in her home on Wednesday, Aug. 27, 2003. Born Jan. 18, 1916, in Montoursville, Kathryn was the youngest of four children to Maude and Samuel Egli. She was preceded in death by her brothers, Harold and Gene.
Kathryn is survived by her sister, Lillian Wither.
Kathryn was a devoted wife, beloved mother, loving grandmother, faithful Christian and friend to many.
She was married to the late William H. Schrum from 1938 to 2001. Their 62 years together served as testimony of their marriage covenan
Mrs. Schrum is survived by her family, Dale and Shirley Schrum Doebler of Montgomery, Rick and Holly Schrum Mayberry of Doylestown, Samuel and Cheryl Schrum of Williamsport; her grandchildren, Tom and Debbie Waldman, Steve and Lisa Flook, Jamie and Vicki Schrum, Alison Schrum, Bryon and Kristin Lomas, Jon and Kate Lomas Bancroft, Christopher Lomas and her great-grandchildren, Samantha, Brooke, Sydney, Brandon and Jason.
As a dedicated mother, Kathryn was very involved in the life of her children. She served as a PTO President, WHS Booster Club Parent, Girl Scout Leader and Cub Scout mother. She centered her life around the mission of the church serving as a Sunday school teacher, committee member, deacon and elder to the Lycoming Presbyterian Church, where she was a member since childhood. Kathryn contributed to her community as a Red Cross volunteer Women’s Auxiliary officer and member of the Women’s Club.
Never without a book to read, Kathryn traveled the world through literature and took great pleasure in the written words of others. Her life was enriched by the companionship of her animals. As a sports enthusiast she followed championship teams: tennis, golf, Penn State football and Williamsport Little League. She was an avid bowler and bowled with a church league until she was 84 years old.
Her greatest contribution to life was the role model and wisdom she provided for her family.
Friends and relatives are invited to Kathryn’s life celebration beginning at 10 a.m. Saturday at the Lycoming Presbyterian Church, 825 Arch St. Services will follow at 11 a.m., with the Rev. Richard W. Miller officiating. Interment will be in Twin Hills Memorial Park.
In lieu of flowers, contributions may be made to the Lycoming Presbyterian Church in Kathryn’s memory.
Arrangements are being handled by the Maneval Funeral Home, Ltd. “A Life Celebration Home,” 500 W. Fourth St., Williamsport.
