Individual Note: The 1900 Federal Census lists John F. Rahn, 38, born Feb 1862 in Germany living at 28 Lewis? St. in Geneva, Ward 5, Ontario County, NY. Also living with him are his wife, Bertha A., b. Oct 1867; son - John M. b. Aug 1886; daughters - Minnie W. 11 b. June 1888; and Martha B. 8, b. Aug 1891. John immigrated from Germany in 1874 at 26 years old. Bertha immigrated in 1884 at 16 years old. John is a polisher and he rents his house. (June 14, 1900; E.D. 63; Sheet 15).
The 1910 Federal Census lists John F. Rahn, 48, b. in Germany living in Geneva, Ward 5, Ontario County, NY. Also living with him are his wife, Bertha A., 39; daughters - Martha B. 18, and May C. 7. Four of seven children are living. John is a polisher in a stove factory and he owns his house. John immigrated in 1873. Also living with them are a hired man, Julius Schroder, 29 works on a farm, born in Germany immigrated in 1885. (Apr 22, 1910; E.D. 98; Sheet 4A).
The 1930 Federal Census lists John F. Rahn, 67, b. in Germany living in Buffalo, Erie County, NY. Also living with him are his wife, Bertha A., 62; daughters - May C. 27, single. Also their granddaughter Mabelle Smithgall, 18 b. PA lives with them. John was 24 when first married and Bertha 18. John is not emplyed and he owns his house which is worth $15000. John immigrated in 1873 and is a naturalized citizen. Mae is a teacher in a public school. Mabel works as a stenographer in an office. They also have a lodger, Marion Cole, 27 and single working as a nurse living with them. (Apr 2, 1930; E.D. 15-307; Sheet 1A).

William is an assistant manager in a grocery corp. John and Mary were 22 and 23 respectively, when first married. Also living in the house as head of the household, are Mary's parents, William H. Simmons 71 and Ida C. 70. William Simmons is a farmer. Williams and Ida were 23 and 22 respectively, when first married.

Ruth D. Brucklacher, 77, of 1251 Rural Ave., Williamsport, died Friday, Oct. 11, 2002, at Roseview Manor. She was preceded in death by her husband, Albert L., on June 19, 1999. Born Sept. 1, 1925, in Williamsport, she was the daughter of M. Elizabeth Moon.
Ruth was a graduate of Williamsport High School and studied mathematics at Penn State.
She was a design engineer at Textron-Lycoming and retired from the former Pullman Power Products as a cost accountant.
Ruth was a member of the Lycoming County Audubon Society, a volunteer at the James V. Brown Library, and an activist for wildlife conservation.
She is survived by a daughter, Susan C. Brucklacher of Pittsburgh.
A memorial service will be held Monday at 2 p.m. at Roseview Court Assisted Living, 1251 Rural Ave., with the Rev. Barry Stopfel officiating. Interment will be in Wildwood Cemetery.
The family will provide the flowers. Memorial contributions may be made to the Lycoming County Audubon Society P.O. Box 4053, Williamsport, PA 17701 or to the American Cancer Society, 1948 E. Third St., Williamsport, PA 17701.
Arrangements are being handled by Maneval Funeral Home, A Life Celebration Home.
