     Fatal fire near Hughesville

HUGHESVILLE - A man in his 60s died in a house fire Tuesday morning in Wolf Township, fire officials said.

Hughesville and four other departments responded to the blaze about 7 a.m., according to borough fire Chief Steven Stiger.

Lycoming County Coroner Charles E. Kiessling Jr. was at the scene and state police were sending Trooper Dennis Haines, a fire marshal, to look for a cause.

No other people in the house were injured, Stiger said.
