Individual Note:
     The 1900 Federal Census list William F. Velott b. Feb 1866 and his family living in Upper Providence Twp., Delaware Co., PA. He is a farmer.

The 1910 Federal Census lists William F. Velott, 44, and his wife Jennie V., 42 living on Main Street in Picture Rocks Boro, Lycoming Co., PA. He is a cabinet maker in a furniture factory, as is his son, Howard J., 17. Six of nine children are living.

1920 Federal Census lists William F. Velott, 53 and his wife, Jennie B., 51 living on Jordan Street, Montoursville, Lycoming Co., PA. Their two sons, Penrose and J. Frederic live with them. Penrose is an upholsterer in a chair factory. William is not employed. They live adjacent to the Edward Pittenger family. Edward and Elvira Smithgall live several houses away.

Josephyne (Velott) Gerhardt, 92, of Harrisburg, and formerly of Williamsport, passed away on Saturday, April 1, 2006. She was the daughter of the late Joseph H. and Emily (Smithgall) Velott.
