David G. Maggs
David G. Maggs, 58, of 1145 Market St., died June 25, 2006, in the Williamsport Hospital.
Born May 14, 1948, in Williamsport, he was a son of Melvin E. and Edith F. Lutz Maggs Sr.
He was a member of St. Boniface Church.
David was an inspector at Textron Lycoming here in Williamsport. He was a 1966 graduate of Williamsport High School.
He was a member of the United Auto Workers Local 781 and was a member of the train club, the S Gaugers. David enjoyed model trains and fishing.
He and his wife, the former Frances K. Fullmer Maggs, celebrated their 39th wedding anniversary this past Feb. 25.
Surviving, besides his wife, are a son, David R. (Allison) Maggs of Sand Point, Idaho; a daughter, Heather E. (John) Carnahan of Williamsport; grandchildren, Maddie Ott, Renee Carnahan and Max Carnahan; his mother, Edith F. Maggs of Williamsport; and brothers, Melvin E. Maggs Jr. of South Williamsport and Steven Maggs of Williamsport.
A graveside service will be held in Montoursville Cemetery on Thursday morning at 10:30 a.m.
Friends may call at the Crouse Funeral Home, 133 E. Third St., on Wednesday evening from 7 to 9 p.m.

William L. Franquet
William L. Franquet, 85, of 1143 George St., Williamsport, died at the Williamsport Hospital, Dec. 29, 2003. Born May 29, 1918, in Williamsport, he was the son of Christian and Mabel Neiur Franquet.
He retired as supervisory management Analyst for the Letterkenny Army Depot in Chambersburg, Pa.
William was a World War II Army veteran retiring as a 2nd Lieutenant. He was a member of St. Marys Episcopal Church, the Williamsport L.O.O.M, N.A.R.F.E. and celebrated his 60th anniversary on Nov. 23, with his wife, the former Shirley M. Miller.
Surviving besides his wife, is one daughter, Judith A. (Mel) Maggs of South Williamsport; and one sister, Ernestine Blitz of Elmira, N.Y.; three grandchildren, Michael and Mark Maggs and Beth Lazorka; 14 great-grandchildren.
Funeral services are Wednesday, Dec. 31, at 10:30 a.m. at St. Marys Episcopal Church, 912 Almond St. with the Rev. S. Shellman Baer, officiating. There will be no visitation. Burial will be at the Montoursville Cemetery. Family will provide the flowers. Contributions may be made to the church.

Theone B. Franquet
Theone B. Franquet, 90, formerly of 825 Tucker St., died Sunday, March 7, 2004, at Valley View Nursing were she was a guest for 2 1/2 years. She was born June 2, 1913, in Jamison City, Pa., a daughter of Oscar H. and Anna Hay Bradley.
Thoene was the wife of the late Paul A. Franquet, Sr. and her first husband Frederick Shook. She was a member of the Redeemer Lutheran Church for over 50 years. She was a clerk at Mid Penn for 12 years retiring in 1973. Theone was an avid bowler, golfer, hunter and enjoyed the outdoors.
She is survived by two sons, Paul (Ruth) and Julius (Marie) both of Williamsport; six grandchildren; and nine great grandchildren.
Aside from her husbands, Theone was preceded in death by two daughters, Winifred Franquet and Theone Welshans; one son, Frederick Shook, Jr.; one sister; three brothers; a granddaughter, Lynn Franquet; and a grandson Robert Welshans.
A celebration of Theone?s life will begin with a visitation from 7 to 9 p.m. Wednesday at the Maneval Funeral Home, Ltd. ?A Life Celebration Home,? 500 W. Fourth St. Services will be 1 p.m. Thursday at the funeral home with the Rev. Roy D. Meyer officiating. Interment will be in Wildwood Cemetery. In lieu of flowers contributions may be made to the Alzheimer?s Association, 63 North Franklin St., Kirby Health Center, Wilkes-Barre, PA 18701.

Age: 92
For 54 years, she was the wife of Harry E. Stewart, who passed away in 1987.
She graduated from Montgomery High School in 1931. She and her husband moved to Williamsport, PA in 1947 when Mr. Stewart started the Stewart Auto Service and she helped him doing the bookkeeping.She had an active ministry at St. Mark's Lutheran Church in Williamsport for 25 years teaching Sunday School and working on the Altar Guild. She was also a volunteer for the Williamsport Hospital Auxiliary for 25 years. In Sun City, AZ in 1971 she became a volunteer at Boswell Hospital. She worked with the Altar Guild at First American Lutheran and Shepherd of the Desert Lutheran until moving to Jacksonville in 1999.
Family members include her daughter, Shirley Hoffman and son-in-law Les Hoffman of Land O' Lakes; her son, James H. Stewart and daughter-in-law Linda Kiessling Stewart of Ponte Vedra Beach; 6 grandsons and 5 great grandchildren.
A memorial service will be held at 1 p.m. today, Friday, at Cypress Village's Egret Hall. A private family interment will be held later at St. John's Lutheran Church Cemetery, "Brick Church" in Montgomery, PA.
In lieu of flowers, memorial contributions may be made to the Community Hospice of Northeast Florida, 4266 Sunbeam Rd., Jacksonville, FL 32257. Quinn-Shalz Funeral Home.
