The Rev. Paul A. Lauchle
The Rev. Paul A. Lauchle, 55, Harrisburg, went to become a member of the church triumphant on Thursday. (July 20,2006)
He was born April 21, 1951, in Williamsport, the son of the late Morton Lauchle and Doris (Yonkin) Lauchle, Montoursville; and was a graduate of Hughesville High School, Williamsport Area Community College, Mansfield University and United Theological Seminary. He was also preceded in death by his brother, Craig, in 1959.
He was currently Senior Pastor at Colonial Park United Methodist Church since 1996. His former pastoral charges include South Lebanon (Ohio) United Methodist Church, Coudersport Larger Parish, and St. John’s United Methodist, Williamsport.
Pastor Paul was recognized by the United Theological Seminary in 1984 with the Award for Effective Ministry, and by the Annual Conference in 1993 when he was given the Denman Evangelism Award.
Over the years, he has served as a member, chair or secretary for numerous district, conference and community committees. He was a delegate to the 1996 and 2000 Northeast Jurisdictional Conference and had been a member of the Coudersport Ambulance Association and School Board.
He enjoyed golfing and gardening, and was a member of the PIAA for 37 years, officiating at many football games, including a state championship game in 1997. He was also a member and treasurer of the Lauchle Lodge Hunting Camp.
In addition to his mother, he is survived by his beloved wife of 33 years, Kathleen (Jeskie) Lauchle; children, Tara, Matthew, Mary and Mark; three sisters, Emily DeWire, Doreen Mileto and Lila Lauchle; many nieces and nephews; and a host of friends, relatives and church members, all of whom will miss him greatly.
Memorial services will be held 1 p.m. on Saturday at the Life Center, 411 South 40th St., Harrisburg.
Family and friends will be received from 6 to 9 p.m. Friday at Colonial Park United Methodist Church, 430 Colonial Road, Harrisburg, PA 17109.
Contributions may be made in his honor and memory to his church.

Doris Henry Kimble
Doris Henry Kimble, 84, of 1249 Towncrest Road, Williamsport, formerly of the 900 block of Diamond Street, died at her home on Monday, Aug. 7, 2006.
Born Feb. 24, 1922, in Williamsport, she was the daughter of Ralph B. and Ploma R. Kehrer Henry.
Doris was a 1939 graduate of Williamsport High School and was employed by Montour Auto for 22 years before retiring in 1990. She had also been employed by Penn College and in the office of Justice of the Peace Eschbach. She was very active in Trinity Gospel Church.
Doris was preceded in death by husbands, Clyde N. Felix and Lynald R. Kimble, as well as her daughter, Cordella A. Kohberger.
Surviving are her brother, R. Larue (Mary) Henry of Westminster, Md.; and her son-in-law, Richard E. Kohberger of Trout Run.
Funeral services will be held at 10:30 a.m. Thursday from Sanders Mortuary, 821 Diamond St., with her pastors, the Revs. Joel Henderson and Philip Lesko officiating. Burial will follow in Montoursville Cemetery.
Friends may call at Sanders from 9:30 to 10:30 a.m. Thursday.
The family will provide the flowers and suggests memorials be given to Trinity Gospel Church, 1010 Elmira St., Williamsport, PA 17701.

William H. Wright
William H. Wright, 90, of 1900 A Ravine Road, Williamsport, died Sunday, Aug. 13, 2006 in the Williamsport Home.
Born April 2, 1916 in Loyalsockville, he was a son of Charles and Emma Freezer Wright.
He was a 1933 of Williamsport High School and had worked at Armour Leather. Bill was a member of the Masonic Lodge #397 and the Williamsport Consistory. He was past president of South Williamsport Senior Citizens and past president of the residents and management committee at the Williamsport Home Apartments. He volunteered for AARP ñ Income Tax Service for 15 years for senior citizens.
Surviving are his wife of 65 years, the former Clara E. Winder, two daughters Ann L. Richart of Sarasota, Fla. and Sally A. Wright of Jacksonville, Fla., and a brother Dr. Ralph Wright of Lancaster.
He was preceded in death by a granddaughter, Rena’ D. Smith on Aug. 11, 2004.
Services will be private.

James A. Freezer, 92, a former resident of 11th Avenue, Shamokin Dam, and past resident of Grayson View, Selinsgrove, passed away at 1:45 p.m. Wednesday, June 27, 2007 in Buffalo Valley Lutheran Village, Lewisburg, where he had been a resident since November.
He was born Feb. 20, 1915, in Loyalsock Township, Lycoming County, a son of the late Clyde and Cora (Hepburn) Freezer. He was previously married to Patricia L. (Stevenson) Hummel, who now resides in Northumberland.
He attended Loyalsock Township Area Schools.
Jim worked for PP&L at the Sunbury station as control room operator for 36 years retiring in 1983. He loved his job and the people he worked with.
He was a long-time member of Christ Community United Methodist Church, Selinsgrove.
He was a member of the Lafayette Lodge No. 194 Free and Accepted Masons, Selinsgrove, and also Williamsport Consistory.
Jim loved gardening and was well known for his strawberries and prize winning flowers and vegetables winning numerous awards at area fairs for his entries.
He was a devoted father and grandfather and enjoyed attending his grandsons games and performances. His family, brothers and sisters, were all a joy in his life.
He is survived by one daughter and son in law, Jamie and Corey Waters, of Selinsgrove; two grandsons, Thadeus and Matthew Waters, both at home; three brothers and one sister-in-law, Ralph and Leroy Freezer, both of Montoursville and Raymond and Ruthie Freezer, of Danville; one sister, Mary Neidig, of Williamsport; and numerous nieces and nephews.
In addition to his parents, he was preceded in death by two sisters, Ruth McAnany and Catherine Balkema.
Services were held 11 a.m. Monday at Christ Community United Methodist Church, Park Road, Selinsgrove where a Masonic service took place at 11. His pastor, the Rev. Barry C. Robinson officiated.
Burial was held in Twin Hills Memorial Park, Muncy.

Ralph H. Freezer
Veteran
Ralph H. Freezer, 89, of 432 Jordan Avenue, Montoursville, passed away July 23, 2007 at Sycamore Manor.
He was born October 4, 1917 in Loyalsock Twp., the son of Clyde R. and Cora A. Hepburn Freezer.
Ralph retired from the former Bethlehem Steel Wire Rope Division, was a member of the Eugene Grafius American Legion Post #104, 40 ET 8, and enjoyed Nascar. He was an Army Veteran and served with the 226th Signal Operation Company.
Surviving him are two brothers, Raymond W. Freezer of Danville and LeRoy O. Freezer of Montoursville; and a sister, Mary E. Neidig of Williamsport.
He was preceded in death by a brother, James, and two sisters, Ruth McAnany and Kathryn Balkema.
Funeral services will be Friday, July 27, 2 p.m. at Spitler Funeral Home, 733 Broad St., Montoursville. Interment will follow in Twin Hills Memorial Park, with military honors accorded by the Korean War Veterans of Lycoming County. Friends will be received Friday afternoon from 1-2 p.m. at the funeral home.
In Lieu of flowers, contributions may be made to Sycamore Manor Health Center for Eden Concept, 1445 Sycamore Road, Montoursville, PA 17754.
