Individual Note: Beverly J. Berger
Beverly June Berger, 81, of 3182 Rte. 442 Highway, formerly of Buck Hill Road, Muncy, died on Monday September 18, 2006, at the Gate House at Divine Providence Hospital in Williamsport. Her husband, Russel A. Berger, died on May 29, 1974.
Beverly was born in Moreland Twp., on June 3, 1925, a daughter of Ralph W. and Grace P. (Shaner) Craig.
Beverly was a member of Messiah Lutheran Church in Clarkstown and was a former 4-H leader and a member of the Muncy Creek Fireman’s Auxiliary. She was formerly employed by Lowe’s Super Duper in Clarkstown.
Surviving Beverly are eight daughters and two sons, Alice and James Girven of Muncy, John and Patricia Berger of Muncy, Jean and Chet Harbach of Arkansas, Barbara and Arch Seats of York, Patty and Stephen Peterman of Muncy, Joyce and Reuben Stugart of Cogan Station, Betty and Stephen Delany of Muncy, Lois and Mick Maneval of Hughesville, Timothy and Marla Berger of Berwick, Linda and Jeff Savoie of Elizabethtown; 18 grandchildren; 11 great grandchildren, and two sisters; Thelma Walker of Montoursville and Venus Baldwin of Loyalsock. She is predeceased by a sister, Ruth Houseknecht, a grand daughter, Valarie Berger and a son-in-law, Sam McCarty.
The funeral will be Thursday 11 a.m. at Messiah Lutheran Church, Rte. 442 in Clarkstown, with her pastor, Rev. Carla Volland, officiating. Burial will be in Muncy Cemetery. Friends will be received at the McCarty-Thomas Funeral Home, 557 East Water Street, Hughesville, on Wednesday from 7 to 9 p.m.
The family will provide the flowers and suggest memorial contributions be made to the Gate House at Divine Providence Hospital, 1100 Grampian Blvd., Williamsport, PA 17701.

Sabina A. Morehart, wife of the late William H. Morehart, died Monday at her Johnson Street home in Montgomery. She is survived only by nieces and nephews. Burial in the Williamsport Cemetery.

Charles R. Dick Morehart, 61, of 800 Wildwood Boulevard, Williamsport, died in the Emergency Room of Williamsport Hospital on Sunday, Nov. 2, 2003.
Born Aug. 9, 1942, in Jersey Shore, he was the son of Charles J. Morehart Jr. and Betty Marshall Morehart Gamble.
A graduate of Williamsport High School, Dick served in the Air Force. He had been employed by the Williamsport Home for over 11 years. He was an avid NASCAR and Dale Earnhart fan.
Surviving in addition to his mother of city, are his wife of 40 years, the former Betty J. Dunlap; a son, Rick S. of city; two daughters, Penny Morehart of city and Michelle Morehart of Sanford, Maine; a sister, Linda Mills of Mechanicsburg; seven grandchildren; and one great-granddaughter.
He was preceded in death by a sister, Barbara Womer.
Funeral services will be held at 1:30 p.m. Thursday from Sanders Mortuary, 821 Diamond St., with the Rev. Lynn A. Wheeler officiating. Burial will be in Twin Hills Memorial Park.
Friends may call at Sanders from 7 to 9 p.m. Wednesday.
