Individual Note: The 1880 Federal Census lists Ernest Warner, 32, a laborer, born in Germany living in Indianapolis, Marion Co., Indiana with his family. Also living with him are his presumed wife, Ida S., 24 and children: Gertrude, 5; Ernest 3, and Lawrence, 6 months. (June 7, 1880; E.D. 113; p. 21)
The 1900 Federal Census lists Ernest Warner, 51, a machinst, born in Germany, immigrated in 1853, living in Battle Creek, Calhoun Co., Michigan with his family. Also living with him are his presumed wife, Ida E., 42 and children: Gertrude Fairbanks, 24 married for one year; Ernest 23, and Lawrence, 21 and Harley, 19. Ernest, the son, is a laborer at a cereal company (let's assume Kellogg's), Lawrence is a machinst. (June 6, 1900; E.D. 37; p.9A)
The 1910 Federal Census lists Ernest Warners, 60, a machinst, born in Germany, immigrated in 1853, living in Battle Creek, Calhoun Co., Michigan with his wife, Ida, 53. They have been married 36 years. He rents the house at 38 Fountain Street East. He was born in Germany, as were his parents. Ida was born in Ohio, her parents were born in Pennsylvania. He is a machinist at a factory. (April 16, 1910; E.D. 32; sheet 3A).
The 1920 Federal Census lists Ernest Warners, 70, , born in Germany, immigrated in 1853, living in Battle Creek, Calhoun Co., Michigan with his wife, Ida, 63. He owns the house at 316 Meachum Aveune. He was born in Germany, as were his parents. Ida was born in Ohio, her parents were born in Pennsylvania. He is a machinist at a factory. Also living with them is their son, Lawrence, 40, divorced, boiler maker. (January 19, 1920; E.D. 40; sheet 12B).
It is most likely the Warners died in Battle Creek, Michigan between 1920-1930.

They have been married 5 years and both children are living. They have two sons: Charles 4 and Raymond 3. All born in Ohio. Frank is a blacksmith and shoes horses. Nearest relatiive: Hattie Hendrickson, same address. Registration Location: Summit County, Ohio; Roll: 1819623; Draft Board: 5.
The 1920 Federal Census list Frank Hendrickson, 38 and his wife, Hattie, 35 living at 845 Huron Street, Akron, Summit Co., Ohio. They have two sons: Charles 14 and Raymond 12, who attend school. All born in Ohio. Frank is a blacksmith. He rents his home.(Februay 17/18, 1920; E.D. 207; Sheet 17A)
The 1930 Federal Census list Frank Hendrickson, 49 and his wife, Hattie, 51 living at 219 Campbell Street, Akron, Summit Co., Ohio. Frank was 24 when first married and Hattie, 26. Frank is a blacksmith. He owns his home worth $2250.(April 10, 1930; E.D. 77-50; Sheet 6B)

Individual Note: The 1880 Federal Census lists Malinda Dave (sic), 21, living with her parents Michael, 61, and Sarah, 59, in Perry Twp., Hocking Co., Ohio. It is unlikely that the baby Rachel, 1 year 3 month, born Feb 1879 is actually the daughter of Sarah. Future evidence shows that Rachl is the daughter of Malinda. (June 1, 1880, E.D. 64; page 11A)
Research Note: The father of Malinda's children could possibly be William Hendrickson b. Jun 1854 as he also lived in Perry Twp., Hocking Co., Ohio during the 1870s -1900.

Individual Note: Christian Lower was born in Berks Co Pa. He served in the Revolutionary War, sometime between 1775-1783. He fought in the Battle of Brandywine on Sept 11, 1777. This battle was a victory for the British. General William Howe led the British troops, with General George Washington leading the Americans. The battle was fought at Brandywine Creek near Chadds Ford Pa. It is said that Washinton withdrew most of his troops safely. Christiam was granted military land in Virginia (present day Ohio). In the early 1820's , his family moved to New Bedford, Ohio (Mill Creek Twp, Coshocton Co. Ohio. Christian and Elizabeth are buried at the Zion United church of Christ cemetery in New Bedford.
