The 1920 census lists Thomas Smithgall, 36 and his family living in Pine Creek Twp., Clinton Co., PA. Also living with him are his wife Rena, 32 and step-sons Walter Bower, 13 and Steven Bower, 12. Thomas is a lumberman in a mill.
