Individual Note:
     Alva Sharr was a boarder in 1900 with the family of John M. Gesler in Gamble Twp. Lycoming Co. PA. Alva is born May 1869, 31 and single. He and his parents were born in PA. He is a farm laborer.

The 1910 Federal Census lists Alvin R. Sharr, 41, living at 40 Queen Street, Northumberland, Northumberland Co., PA. Living with him is his wife, Emma, 36. Alva has been married twice and Emma only once. They have no children and years married is zero. Both were born in PA. Alva is a laborer for K. Forging Co. April 27, 1910; E.D. 91; Sheet 1A)

The 1920 Federal Census lists Alva R. Sharr, 61, living at 407 Cramer Court, Williamsport, Lycoming Co., PA. Living with him are his wife, Emma, 45 and son Darrell, 12. He is a laborer in a stable ?. All born in PA. (January 10-12, 1920; E.D. 103; Sheet 9A)

The 1930 Federal Census list Alva Ranson Sheer, 61 living at 1508 Memorial Avenue, Williamsport, Lycoming Co., PA. Living with him are his wife, Emma 55 and nephew, Edgar Swartz, 47, divorced; and a roomer, John Helman, 63, widowed. Alva is a laborer in a foundry. All born in PA. Emma's father was born in England and mother in Germany. He rents the house for $30 per month. (April 9, 1930; E.D. 41-73; Sheet 4A)

According to many newspaper articles the Sharrs lived in Trout Run and in Wallis Run in 1895.

     The 1880 census lists George Egli, 23 and his wife, Elizabeth, 20 and their daughter, Clara C. 1 living in Upper Fairfield Twp., Lycoming Co., PA. George is a school teacher. All born in PA.

The 1900 census states that George and Elizabeth live on Cherry Street in Montoursville. They were married for 22 years and 8 of 8 children are living.

The 1910 census states that George and Elizabeth had 12 children, 8 living. They lived in Clinton Twp, Lycoming Co. PA and had been married for 32 years. George is a sander in a table factory.

The 1930 census states that George W. Egli, 72; and his wife, Sara L. 64 live in Clinton Twp., Lycoming Co., PA. Also living with them are George's son, W. Oscar Egli, 44 and a nephew, Wilson, 14. All born in PA. Both George and Sara were 20 when first married. George is a farmer.

     Daniel & Sarah appear to live with her parents and help farm in the 1870 census.

Egly - 1870 they live in Fairfield Twp., Lycoming Co, PA with Sarah's parents.

The 1910 census lists Daniel Egly 66 and his wife, Sarah living in Muncy Twp., Lycoming County, PA. Also living with them is their daughter, Ada M. 23, a seamstress. All born in PA. Daniel and Sarah have been married for 42 years. Daniel is not employed and Sarah is a seamstress. They have 10 children, 9 of whom are living.

     The 1900 census of Green St. Muncy, Lycoming, PA lists George E. Egli, 30 b. August 1869 and his wife Jennie, 29 b. Oct. 1870. They have been married 7 years and having 2 children, both of whom are living.
The children are Ethel 5 b. Nov. 1894 and Roy E. 3 b. April 1897. George is a laborer in a furniture factory and rents his house.
