The family consists of Paolo, 45; Mary, 46; Netta, 18; Jimmie, 15; Eugenio, 12; Ernesto, 8. Paolo immigrated in 1913; the others in 1919, all born in Italy. Paolo is a laborer on the railroad. The 1930 Census lists the Miele family living at 637 Lycoming St., Williamsport, Lycoming Co., PA. Paul, Mary and Eugene were born in Italy, they speak Italian. Ernest was born in PA. Paul immigrated in 1918, Mary and Eugene immigrated in 1919. Paul is a laborer on the railroad. Eugene is the manager of a pool room. (April 11, 1930; E.D. 41-62; Sheet 11A).

A death date for a Samuel Winder was found to be: 01 Jul 1898, but this certainly could not be this Samuel Winder because it would make him 118 years old.

Individual Note: 1830 census lists Aaron Winder in Fairfield Twp. Lycoming Co. PA: 1 male 5-10, 1 male 20-30 (Aaron), 1 female under 5, and 1 female 20-30.
1860: Aaron Winder, 60,and his family are listed as Aaron WINTERS of Upper Fairfield Twp in the 1860 Federal Census. Living with him are his wife, Hannah, 60; Hannah, 28; Aaron, 16; Joseph, 39 and Elias, 6. They live adjacent to Samuel WINTERS and his wife, Rebecca.
The 1880 census lists an Aaron Winder, 74; his sister, Rebecca Winder 66 ; and daughter, Hannah Holmes 46 living in Eldred Twp. Lycoming Co. PA. Hannah Holmes is divorced. Aaron Winder is widowed and a shoemaker.
Aaron Winder's gravesite is located in the Montoursville Cemetery, one row removed from the west wall of the small block building in the middle of the cemetery. Other Winders are buried here too.

Individual Note: The 1850 census of Cascade Twp., Lycoming Co. PA lists Merrick Winder, 38; his wife, Mary, 34; children: Giles, 15 and Henry, 14; Mary A. 11; Amos, 9; Caroline, 6; and Sarah 3. Merrick is a laborer. All born in PA. p. 199A. They live near Joseph Hoffman.
Merrick Winder was a Veteran of the Civil War.
Several birth dates have been found for this individual, including 4/25/1814. According to his Dec.29, 1887 marriage certificate to Sarah Jane Williams, he was 75 years old = born in 1802.
