MUNCY — Ida I. Egli, 102, a resident of the Skilled Nursing Unit at Muncy Valley Hospital, formerly of Sherman St., Muncy, died Sunday, Oct. 15, 2000. Arrangements are being handled by Wallis-Grenoble’s, 121 S. Main St., Muncy.

     Lorma Egli Ferrell Obituary from the Williamsport Sun-Gazette Saturday, June 14, 2003
       Lorma Egli Ferrell, 74, of 70 N. Main St., Picture Rocks, died Thursday, June 12, 2003, at her residence after a brief illness. Her husband of 37 years, Robert Walton Ferrell Jr., predeceased her on Feb. 27, 1993. She was born in Northumberland County on July 24, 1928, the daughter of the late William Ray and Ida (Fuller) Egli.
       Lorma was previously employed by Muncy Bank and Trust and the former J&L Steel before she became the bookkeeper for her husbands engineering firm, Robert W. Ferrell, Jr., PE, and its successor company, Hunt Engineers of Williamsport.
       She was a member of the Picture Rocks United Methodist Church and was an active community volunteer, serving in the East Lycoming School Board from 1963 to 1965 and again from 1969 to 1975. She also served as the district representative to the BLaST Intermediate Unit #17 (1974-1976). She was the president of the George A. Ferrell Elementary School PTA. She was also the judge of elections in Picture Rocks Borough, a Lycoming County Republican Committee member and served one term on the Picture Rocks Borough Council. She was a 50-year member of the Beta Sigma Phi Sorority and served as president of the Hughesville Women’s Club.
       Surviving are four children; Robert W. Ferrell III of Picture Rocks, Susan Ferrell Troller of Terrace Park, Ohio, William M. Ferrell of Spring City and Sharon Ferrell Ketchen of Tallahassee, Fla. Also surviving are three grandchildren, Katharine, Andrew and Robert Troller. A sister who died in early childhood, Betty Egli, predeceases her.
       A memorial service will be held Monday, 4 p.m., at the Picture Rocks United Methodist Church, with the Rev. Ronald O. Doan, Susquehanna Home Hospice Chaplain, officiating. A visitation period will be held one hour prior to the service at the church. Interment will be in Picture Rocks Cemetery.
       The family will provide the flowers and suggest that memorial contributions be made in Lorma’s name to the Picture Rocks United Methodist Church, P.O. Box 366, Picture Rocks, PA 17762, or the Susquehanna Home Health Hospice, 1001 Grampian Blvd., Williamsport, PA 17701.

Winder - John G. Winder of 1144 Grove Street passed away on Thursday at 51 years old, after a long illness. His funeral takes place this afternoon at 2 o'clock at the East End Baptist Church. Burial in the Williamsport Cemetery. He left his wife.

The groom was attended by his brother and the bride by her sister, Blanch. Mary Keyte and Rachel Ashton were flower girls. About 90 guests were present.
