Richard W. Egli, 65, of 1093 Cherry St., Montoursville, died Monday, Nov. 17, 2003, at his residence. He was born on Jan. 4, 1938, in Williamsport, the son of Albert E. and Jean L. Simcox Egli.
       He was a member of the Faith United Methodist Church in Montoursville and the Eugene Grafius American Legion Post # 104, and worked as a salesman for Susquehanna Paper in Williamsport for 37 years.
       On July 16, 2003, he celebrated his 43rd wedding anniversary with his wife, the former Sylvia M. (Sue) Watts.
       Surviving besides his wife are three daughters, Cathi S. Egli at home, Krista L. (Chris) Ray of Montoursville and Michele M. Egli of Mechanicsburg; a sister, Barbara J. Johns of Hughesville; and a grandson, Braden Richard Ray.
       The funeral service will be held on Thursday at 10:30 a.m. from the Spitler Funeral Home, 733 Broad St., Montoursville, with the Rev. Paul C. Murphy, his pastor, officiating. Friends will be received on Thursday from 10 to 10:30 a.m. at the funeral home. Burial will be in the Montoursville Cemetery.
       In lieu of flowers contributions may be made to either The Bell Choirs, Faith United Methodist Church, 700 Fairview Drive, Montoursville, PA 17754, or to Sun Health Hospice, Inc., 61 Duke St., P.O. Box 232, Northumberland, PA 17857.
