Harvey G. Milnor, the present proprietor of the Hotel Crawford. corner of Third and Mulberry Streets was born in 'WarrensvilIe,Lycoming county in 1851. He attended the public schools of that place until 1870. He resided near Warrensville and followed the occupation of farmer and butcher until 1885. Wvhen he moved to Waterville, and
took charge of the hotel at that place, which he conducted until the spring of 1890. He then moved to Williamsport and engaged in the grocery and meat business at the corner of WaInut and Grace streets. He remiained there until the spring of 1893 when he removed to Bloomfield, Perry County. Mr. Milnor took charge of the Mansion
House which he remodelled and conducted in a first class manner until 1894
when he-again came back to Williamsport. The Hotel Crawford at that time was idle and had been for over a year. Mr. Milnor reopened the house in April 1894, and has made it one of the leading hotels in the city.
Also a sherriff in Lycoming County around the turn of the 20th century.
