Couple observes 25th anniversary

Mr. and Mrs. Brent Smithgall, South Williamsport, will observe their 25th wedding anniversary Aug. 7, 2007.

They were married by the late Rev. Joseph Breslin at St. Lawrence Roman Catholic Church, South Williamsport, where Mrs. Smithgall is a member. Mr. Smithgall is a member of Newberry Church of Christ.

Mrs. Smithgall, the former Mary Anne Lechniak, is a native of Williamsport. She is the daughter of Ann and Walter Lechniak, South Williamsport. She graduated from the former Bishop Neumann High School, now St. John Neumann Regional Academy, in 1979 and is a homemaker.

Mr. Smithgall, a native of Williamsport, is the son of the late Shirley and Jim Smithgall. He graduated from South Williamsport Area High School in 1976 and the former Williamsport Area Community College, now Pennsylvania College of Technology, in 1980. He is employed by PPL as a lineman.

They are the parents of one daughter, Lisa, South Williamsport.
