Announcement has been made of the engagement of Jacqueline R. Patt, Williamsport, and Isaac R. Bragunier, Oil City.
An Aug. 26 wedding at Our Lady of Lourdes Church, Montoursville, is being planned.
Patt is the daughter of Barbara J. and Thomas J. Patt, Williamsport. She graduated from Montoursville Area High School in 2002.
Bragunier is the son of Judy A. and Rick L. Bragunier, Middletown. He graduated from Middletown High School in 2001 and received a bachelor’s degree in civil engineering from Pennsylvania College of Technology in 2005. He is employed by the state Department of Transportation in Oil City.

Mr. and Mrs. Floyd L. Fry, Williamsport, observed their 65th wedding anniversary Nov. 24, 2007.
They were married by the Rev. Frantz Snyder at St. Mary Episcopal Church. They are members of Emmanuel Lutheran Church.
Mrs. Fry, the former Anne Marie Welliver, is a native of Williamsport. She is the daughter of the late Andrew and Blanche Welliver. She graduated from Williamsport High School in 1942 and retired from GTE Sylvania, Montoursville.
Mr. Fry, a native of Williamsport, is the son of the late Pearl and Lester Fry. He attended Williamsport schools and retired from the Grower’s Market as a self-employed butcher.
They are the parents of two sons, William L. Sr., Dagsboro, Del., and F. Daniel, Williamsport, and two daughters, Debrah A. Brelsford, Williamsport, and Sherry M. Solomon, Bloomsburg.There are six grandchildren and four great-grandchildren.
In honor of their anniversary, an open house, hosted by their family, was held Nov. 24 at their residence.

Cruelty Charged in Three Divorce Cases
Pasquale Pace by his attorney Edwin K. Logan, has filed an application for divorce from Clelia Pace on the grounds of cruel and barbarous treatment. They were married in October 1919 and lived together until September 1921.

Carol S. Palmer, daughter of Mr. and Mrs. Theodore B. Palmer 3d of Fort Washington, Pa., was married yesterday to Frank L. Newburger 3d, son of Mr. Newburger Jr. of Rydal, Pa., and the late Dorothy Newburger.
The Rev. Clayton Fairo, a Presbyterian minister, performed the ceremony at the Barclay Hotel in Philadelphia. The bride, whose previous marriage ended in divorce, is a flight attendant with Pan American World Airways. The bridegroom is an associate with the Philadelphia law firm of White & Williams.

Mr. and Mrs. Robert C. Karschner Jr., Montoursville, observed their 25th wedding anniversary June 12, 2007.
They were married by the Rev. Charles Westgate at Community Baptist Church, Montoursville, where they are members.
Mrs. Karschner, the former Shelly F. Freezer, is a native of Montoursville. She is the daughter of Thelma R. and Frank H. Freezer, Montoursville. She graduated from Montoursville Area High School in 1979 and South Hills Business School, State College, in 1980. She is employed by Murphy, Butterfield and Holland P.C., as a legal secretary.
Mr. Karschner, a native of Montoursville, is the son of Dotty J. and Robert C. Karschner Sr., Muncy. He graduated from Montoursville Area High School in 1975 and is employed by Pennsylvania College of Technology as a master mechanic.
They are the parents of a son, Dustan R., and a daughter, Chelsea F., both of Montoursville.
In honor of their anniversary, a dinner, hosted by their family, was held June 10 at Country Cupboard.
