Mr. and Mrs. Thomas Clifford Wentzler, Pennsdale, will observe their 65th wedding anniversary Oct. 2, 2008.
They were married by the Revs. G. Lee Lunger and Herman Stuempfle at Cogan House Christian Church.
Mrs. Wentzler, the former Virginia Persun, is a native of Cogan House. She is the daughter of the late Ira and Florence Connelly Persun and attended Liberty High School. She is a homemaker.
Mr. Wentzler, a native of Pennsdale, is the son of the late Thomas C. and Minnie Hessler Wentzler. He graduated from Muncy High School in 1939.
The Wentzlers are retired from dairy farming in Pennsdale.
They are the parents of one daughter, Ruth Lundy, Montgomery, and two sons, Thomas, Albert Lea, Minn., and Paul, Penndsale. There are six grandchildren.

Mr, Mrs. Edward Lundy observe 50th anniversary
MR, MRS. E. LUNDY
Mr. and Mrs. Edward Dean Lundy, Linden, will observe their 50th wedding anniversary July 13, 2007.
They were married by Omar Harris in Williamsport. They are members of Lycoming Christian Church, Linden.
Mrs. Lundy, the former Shirley Maxine Swarthout, is a native of South Williamsport. She is the daughter of the late Maude B. and Guy H. Swarthout. She was self-employed with Custom Butchering and retired in 1994.
Mr. Lundy, a native of Montoursville, is the son of the late Hellen and Mathew D. Lundy. He served in the Army in Germany during the Korean War from 1953 to 1955. He was self-employed with Custom Butchering and retired in 1994.
They are the parents of two daughters, Linda Williams, Linden, and Michelle Johnson, Cogan Station, and three sons, Mark, Linden, and Edward Fisher and Robert, both of Jersey Shore. There are six grandchildren and five great-grandchildren.
In honor of their anniversary, a family dinner is being planned.

Mr., Mrs. Richard DeWald observe 50th anniversary
Mr. and Mrs. Richard W. DeWald, Montoursville, observed their 50th wedding anniversary June 29, 2007.
They were married by the Rev. Elwood L. Bair at the former Montoursville Methodist Church, now Faith United Methodist Church, where they are members.
Mrs. DeWald, the former Nancy Elizabeth Heim, is a native of Williamsport. She is the daughter of the late Joetta B. and Walter J. Heim. She graduated from Montoursville High School in 1952, Stephens College, Columbia, Mo., in 1954 and Johns Hopkins School of Nursing in 1957. She is employed by the Williamsport Area School District as a nurse.
Mr. DeWald, a native of Montoursville, is the son of the late Blanche S. and Howard J. DeWald. He graduated from Montoursville High School in 1951, the former Bloomsburg State Teachers College, now a university, in 1957 and Lycoming College in 1961. He is a Navy veteran of the Korean War, having served from 1952 to 1956. He was president of Montour Auto Service Co. for 23 years and is chairman of the board of Montgomery Plumbing Supply Co.
They are the parents of three daughters, Joetta L. Witiak, Columbia, S.C., Lisa A. Larson, Montoursville, and Carla J. DeWald of East Norriton; and two sons, Todd R., Montoursville, and Christian H., Williamsport. There are 12 grandchildren.
In honor of their anniversary, a family celebration was held in Gorden City, S.C.

Mr., Mrs. K.G. Entz Sr. observe 50th anniversary
Mr. and Mrs. Kenneth G. Entz Sr., Montoursville, observed their 50th wedding anniversary July 27, 2007.
They were married by the Rev. Leo J. Post at St. Boniface Catholic Church, where they are members.
Mrs. Entz, the former Annette K. Bender, is a native of Williamsport. She is the daughter of the late Veronica J. and James L. Bender. She graduated from St. Mary High School in 1952 and retired from Fluid Systems International Inc. She is a volunteer at the Community Arts Center.
Mr. Entz, a native of Williamsport, is the son of the late Caroline E. and Granville K. Entz. He graduated from Williamsport High School in 1951. He served in the Army during the Korean War from 1953 to 1956. He is the former owner of The Lantern, Hughesville, and retired from Bethlehem Steel and Williamsport WireRope Works Inc. He is a volunteer driver for the Veterans Administration.
They are the parents of two sons, Kenneth G. Jr., Eliot, Maine, and Kevin G., Muncy, and a daughter, Veronica C. Crouse, Montoursville. There are five grandchildren.
In honor of their anniversary, a surprise luncheon, hosted by their children and spouses, was held July 28 at Best Western’s banquet hall.
