Text: Ida M. Webb, 89, formerly of Montoursville and a guest at the Williamsport Home passed away December 23, 2008 at the home.
She was born July 19, 1919 in Harrisburg, the daughter of Roy L. and Ruth Ziegler Hagerman.
Ida had worked for the former C.A. Reed Company. She was known for entertaining Senior Citizens by playing the violin, was a member of the Grotto String Band and had also sat in with many other bands. Ida was a member of the Bethany Lutheran Church, the Montoursville Senior Citizens, the South Williamsport Senior Citizens and the Montoursville Golden Agers.
She was predeceased by her first husband, Merle Wilcox; second husband, Kenneth Webb; two brothers, Edward Hagerman and William Hagerman; and two sisters, Betty Rearick and Jane Peace.
Surviving Ida is a grandson, Merle J. Wilcox III; a great-grandson, Cole; a step-son, Kenneth Webb; two step-grandchildren and three step-great-grandchildren.
The funeral service will be held 11 a.m. Monday, December 29, 2008 at the Spitler Funeral Home, 733 Broad Street, Montoursville. Interment will follow in Twin Hills Memorial Park. Friends may call at the funeral home Monday morning from 10 to 11 a.m.

Text: Marguerite D. Pentz, 77, a resident of Sycamore Manor, died Sunday, February 3, 2008 at the Williamsport Hospital following an extended illness.
Her husband, Ralph A. Pentz, died on May 2, 1997.
She was a member of the Tabernacle Baptist Church.
Born September 2, 1930 in Williamsport, she was the daughter of Walter and Edna Martin Pfaff.
Surviving are daughter, Marion Peace of Williamsport and a sister, Joan L. (Melvin E.) Wells of South Williamsport.
Funeral services will be at 11 a.m. Thursday at the church, 911 West Third St. with Rev. Joel W. Long officiating. There will be a visitation from 10 to 11 a.m. at the church. Burial will be at Green Lawn Memorial Park.
The family will provide the flowers and suggests contributions be made to the church or the American Diabetes Assoc., 63 North Franklin St., Wilkes-Barre, PA 18701.

Wanda E. Pentz
Wanda Elaine Pentz, 80, a resident of 1470 Brouse Road, Montgomery, PA, passed away on Wednesday, August 15, 2007 in the Muncy Valley Hospital Skilled Nursing Unit. Born in Washington Twp., Lycoming County, PA, on Wednesday, April 20, 1927, she was the daughter of the late Earl S. Bastian and Mary Edna (White) Bigleman.
She was the wife of LeRoy C. Pentz with whom she celebrated a 61st wedding anniversary on May 12, 2007.
Elaine attended the White Hall School and Montgomery-Clinton High School. She had formerly been employed by the Montgomery Mills, the West Company and Carey McFalls all at Montgomery.
Elaine was a member of the St. John Lutheran “Brick” Church at Montgomery, PA. Raised on a farm near Montgomery, she had a love for animals. She enjoyed going to antique car shows and riding in parades in their 1939 Packard and throwing candy to the children. Elaine was a member of the Susquehanna Region Antique Automobile Club of America and the Montgomery chapter of the Seniors Citizens of Lycoming County.
In addition to her husband, she is survived by three sons, David (Gail) Pentz, Muncy, PA; Larry (Kathy) Pentz, Muncy, PA; Steven (Kathy) Pentz, Montgomery, PA; two daughters, Shirley (Eric) Sallach, Tijeras, NM; Karen Pentz, Unionville, PA; two sisters, Gladys Eleanor Oberdorf, Muncy, PA and Phyllis Jean (Bill) Kennedy, Montgomery, PA. She is also survived by 13 grandchildren and 5 great-grandchildren. In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by one sister, Eva Georgine Baker and two brothers, George Irvin Bastian and Charles Ramon Bastian.
Funeral services will be conducted from the St. John Lutheran “Brick” Church, 196 Brick Church Road, Montgomery, PA at 11a.m. on Monday, August 20, 2007 with Reverend Zack LaBagh, her pastor, and Rev. James R. Pentz, her nephew, officiating. Interment will be in the St. John Lutheran “Brick” Cemetery, Clinton Twp., Lycoming County, PA. Friends may call on Sunday from 7 to 9 p.m. at the Galen R. Betzer Funeral Service, 40 E. Houston Avenue, Montgomery, PA or on Monday from 10 to 11 a.m. at the church. If desired memorial contributions may be made to the St. John Lutheran “Brick” Church, 196 Brick Church Road, Montgomery, PA 17752.
