Text: Floyd L. Fry, 88, formerly of Loyalsock Twp., passed away Monday, June 30, 2008, at the Valley View Nursing Center.
He was born September 9, 1919, in Williamsport, the son of Lester G. and Anna Emick Fry.
Floyd had been a farmer in Loyalsock Twp., with a stand at the former Market House and had been a butcher at Don Waltmen's Meats. He was a member of the John F. Laedlein Lodge #707 F & A.M., and enjoyed camping and fishing.
He was predeceased by his wife, the former Anne Marie Welliver, with whom he celebrated their 65th wedding anniversary November 24th, 2007.
Surviving him are two sons, William L. (Helen) Fry of Dagsboro, DE and F. Daniel (Christie) Fry of Williamsport; two daughters, Debrah A. (Robert) Steward of Williamsport and Sherry M. (Mark) Solomon of Bloomsburg; two brothers, Arthur D. Fry of Millville, DE and Loren L. Fry of Muncy; six sisters, Audrey M. Wright, Marie C. Crissman, Marian F. Getz, Doris M. McCoy all of Williamsport, Cora P. Belcher of Independence, KA and Betty Bennett of Gilbert, AZ; six grandchildren and seven great-grandchildren.
The memorial service will be held 10:30 a.m. Monday, July 7, 2008 at the Spitler Funeral Home, 733 Broad Street, Montoursville. Interment will follow in Twin Hills Memorial Park.
In lieu of flowers, contributions may be made to the Emmanuel Lutheran Church, 2510 Northway Road, Williamsport, PA 17701.

Death source: H. Grace Treaster, 90, of Dushore (Forks Township), Pa., passed away on April 14, 2008, at the Robert Packer Hospital in Sayre, Pa.
She was born on Nov. 4, 1917 in Overton, Pa., a daughter of the late Ira D. and Helen M. (Musselman) Vough.
She is a graduate of New Albany High School.
On May 19, 1938, Grace married Luther A. Treaster. Her husband preceded her in death on May 9, 1983.
Grace was a member of St. Paul’s Church. She also served on the Sullivan County Election Board, and was an avid reader. She found great pleasure in her time spent with the Millview Missionary Society quilting.
She leaves surviving: her children, Allen L. (Delores) Treaster of Julian, Pa., Vernon L. (Sandra) Feaster of Green Valley, Ariz., Paul C. (Darla) Treaster of Dushore, Pa.; granddaughter, Terri Olcott; grandson, Scott A. Treaster; granddaughter, Tamara Heess; and a great grandson, Joshua Heess.
In addition to her parents and husband, she was also preceded in death by brothers: Lynn M. Vough and Clair F. Vough.
Friends and family are invited to call from 10 a.m. until 11 a.m. on Wednesday, April 16, 2008, at St. Paul’s Church in Overton.
Funeral services will be held at 11 a.m. in St. Paul’s Church, with Rev. Darcy Miller, her pastor officiating.
Interment will be in St. Paul’s Reformed Cemetery, Overton, Pa.
