Text:   Betty L. Holdren, 75 of Laceyville, passed away Wednesday in Tyler Memorial Hospital, Tunkhannock.
   
   
She was born in Chambersburg on May 28, 1929, daughter of the late James and Ethel Vinson McCoy.
Surviving are husband of 50 years, Harold Holdren; twin sons, Donald H. and his wife, Barbara Holdren Sr., Holland; W. Douglas and his wife, Marcia Holdren, Collegeville; sisters, June Gilson, Croydon; Peggy Heller, Philadelphia; brother, Walter McCoy, Springville; five grandchildren; two great-grandchildren; many nieces and nephews.
The funeral will be held Monday at 2 p.m. in Skinners Eddy United Methodist Church. Interment will be in Lacey Street Cemetery, Laceyville. Family and friends may call Monday, noon to time of service, at the church.

Text:   Mrs. Nelson M. Forsburg
Mrs. Daisy F. Forsburg, 66 of 1501 Dewey Avenue was pronounced dead on arrival at Divine Providence Hospital early Friday, November 12, 1954. She had been ill for a number of months. Mrs. Forsburg was born in Lock Haven January 3, 1888, and resided in Williamsport for nearly 50 years.

Text:   Mr. Richard D. Forsburg, Sr., 78, of 2678 Route 654 Highway, Williamsport, died Thursday, April 10, 2008 at his home.
   
Mr. Forsburg was a member and communicant of the Roman Catholic Church of the Annunciation at Williamsport.
   
Mr. Forsburg was a United States Army veteran of the Korean Conflict. He had served with the Special Weapons Unit, 8461st Army Air Unit at Killeen, Texas. He was a member of the American Legion.
   
Mr. Forsburg retired in 1992 from the Williamsport Area School District. He previously had taught at Williamsport High School, Loyalsock Township secondary schools, and at the former Williamsport School of Commerce.
   
Richard was a member of the National Audubon Society and the National Philatelic Society. Richard also enjoyed woodworking.
   
Born March 28, 1930 at Williamsport, he was the son of the late Donald and Ruth Ingram Forsburg.
   
He and his wife, the former Natalie D. Stopper, were united in marriage on July 4, 1950. Together they observed 57 years of marriage.
   
Surviving in addition to his wife, Mrs. Natalie D. Forsburg at home, are his three sons, Richard D., Jr. and his wife, Karen A. Forsburg of Vestal, N.Y., Gregory W. and his wife, Karen A. Forsburg of Williamsport and Brian K. Forsburg of Williamsport; his five grandchildren, Melissa Jackson, Michelle Forsburg, Cody Forsburg, Kirstie Forsburg, and Emily Forsburg; and his two great grandchildren, Andrea Jackson and Nathan Jackson.
   
In addition to his late parents, he was also preceded in death by his infant son, Robyn Lee Forsburg.
   
Funeral services and the Mass of Christian Burial will be celebrated at 10 a.m. Monday, April 14, 2008 at the Roman Catholic Church of the Annunciation, 702 West Fourth Street, Williamsport. His priest, the Rev. Father John K. Manno, will be the celebrant. Interment will immediately follow at Green Lawn Memorial Park, Montgomery.
   
Graveside military honors will be accorded by the Guard of Honor of the Korean War Veterans of Lycoming County, PA.
   
There will be a private family visitation. The family respectfully declines floral tributes and suggests that contributions in memory of Mr. Richard D. Forsburg, Sr., may be made, if so desired, to Susquehanna Regional Home Health Hospice, 1100 Grampian Blvd., Williamsport, PA 17701.
   
Arrangements are being directed by the Charles M. Noll Funeral Home, 1 East Central Avenue, South Williamsport.
