Eldora M. Holdren, 70, of 9854 Rose Valley Road, Trout Run, passed away Sunday, June 1, 2008 at her residence.
   
She was born March 11, 1938 in Ralston, a daughter of Thomas and Ella Moser Meuse, Sr.
   
Eldora had worked at Wundies in Williamsport. She enjoyed woodcrafts, sewing, and bingo. On April 26 she celebrated her 50th wedding anniversary with her husband, Jerry J. Holdren, Sr.
   
Surviving in addition to her husband are two sons, Jerry J. (Twila) Holdren, Jr. and David L. (Midge) Holdren, both of Trout Run; two brothers, James Meuse of Cascade, and Bill Meuse of Linden; six sisters, Betty Baker of Blossburg, Cook O’Connor of Rose Valley, Rose Smith, Donna Emerick, Becky Moyer, and Fran Zizza, all of Ralston; five grandchildren, Jenna, Kalee, Lowell, Wendy, Jerilynn, and four great grandchildren.
   
She was predeceased by a granddaughter Celeste, a sister, and four brothers.
   
The funeral service will be held 11 a.m. Thursday, June 5, at the Spitler Funeral Home, 733 Broad St., Montoursville. Interment will follow in the Trout Run Cemetery. Friends will be received on Thursday from 10 to 11 a.m. at the funeral home.
